I’m Sydney Rencher—a proud Chicago native, creative visionary, and visual storyteller with a passion for capturing culture, emotion, and unforgettable moments. I’m a graduate of Florida A&M University, where I earned my B.S. in Broadcast Journalism, and I’ve been using my lens and voice to make an impact ever since.

I specialize in photography, videography, and digital content production, with experience leading creative direction, producing branded content, and documenting real stories that resonate with audiences. From the sidelines of major sporting events to behind-the-scenes moments with brands and public figures, I approach every project with heart, strategy, and authenticity.

Throughout my journey, I’ve had the opportunity to work with nationally recognized names like BET, The City Girls, Wild ‘n Out, Omarion, and many more—creating visuals that leave a lasting impression. I’ve also helped elevate local businesses and community brands with original content that connects, converts, and builds trust.

My work has been recognized on a national stage. In 2024, I was named the Sunshine State Society of Professional Journalists’ Best News Photo Award Winner, and a finalist for two Best Sports Photo awards. I’m also proud to have been selected as a 2024 ONA HBCU Digital Media Fellow and a USA Basketball Women in the Game Scholarship Recipient—both honors that reflect my dedication to growth, leadership, and representation in the digital media space.

At the core of it all, I’m a storyteller. I believe good content doesn’t just capture a moment—it tells a story that moves people, shifts narratives, and inspires change. I’m passionate about creating content that not only looks good but also feels real.

And as a young Black woman in media, I carry a commitment to opening doors and empowering the next generation of creatives to own their voice, tell their story, and take up space.
